When looking at the research conducted by Keri Putnam and Cathy Schulman we can definitely see the trend that there isn't enough women in the filming field roughly just 21% since 2002. Also the link between the Sundance film making and Hollywood film making is different when looking at that males are more dominate when it comes to film making. Like the stats show, women are becoming more and more involved in the film making field and promoting this field to young women can only help the diversity of the film making industry.
